Vacuum Form Moulds

The process of vacuum form moulding involves the heating of a thermoplastic sheet to the appropriate temperature. Subsequently, the heated plastic is stretched around or into a mould pattern and shaped.

Applying vacuum pressure between the mould surface and the plastic sheet ensures that the sheet is conformed to the shape of the mould. As heating of the plastic is required, vacuum forming is, therefore, a thermoforming process.

We are fully equipped and skilled in the process of producing vacuum formed tools which are tailored to the individual needs of our clients. Every client and mould is different, therefore we produce prototypes and production parts using a variety of materials, including steel, aluminium billet, resin tooling boards and more.

If you find yourself in the market for vacuum form moulds for tool development and manufacture, we can create the mould and use it to produce tooling of the very highest standard. Why not speak to an experienced member of the team at A P Patterns Ltd today?
